Amek Highlights BB100 Small Format Mixing Console (Click for a close-up) (Click for a close-up) September 27, 2000 Amek's small format audio mixing console, the BB100, will be on show at the 109th AES Convention (Booth # 411, Los Angeles Convention Center). The BB100 production and on-air console is the just the latest from a company that has been the choice of broadcasters worldwide for more than 27 years, with over 2,000 broadcast consoles in daily service. Amek's BB100 is cost-effective, fully featured and designed primarily to deliver the performance expected by professional broadcasters. Available in configurations from 10 to 32 input channels, with four stereo or eight mono subgroups, and offering fully balanced input and output connections, the BB100 features four internal mix minus feeds as standard and is easily configurable for a variety of custom options through internal factory-set links. Each input accepts both mic and line inputs, and features a direct output, insert with balanced return, soft mute switching, PFL meter and fader start. Module features include four band EQ, eight mono auxiliary sends and an eight bus routing matrix, providing assignment in pairs or to four individual busses. Any number of stereo line input modules may alternatively be fitted. Advertisement Basic metering includes a pair of VU meters for left and right program and a bargraph pair for AFL/PFL. Meter options include up to eight subgroup bargraphs.
