PRESS RELEASE

Alesis Announces New Limited Edition A6 Andromeda

Special Edition Wine Red Andromeda
(Click for a close-up)
September 27, 2000

Alesis Corporation announced today that it will produce a limited number of special edition Andromeda keyboards to commemorate the launch of the company's new 16-voice true analog synthesizer.

The special limited-edition keyboard features red galaxies on the graphic overlay, rather than the standard blue galaxies. Both the cobalt blue and special edition wine red Andromeda keyboards are scheduled to ship in November with a suggested retail price of $3499.

Jim Mack, vice president of sales and marketing said, "There has been an incredible interest in Andromeda since it was announced at Winter NAMM this year, and the rarity of these special edition Andromedas will certainly appeal to the analog synth buyers."

Alesis is limiting production of the red Andromedas to 250 units. Interested customers should contact their nearest authorized Alesis dealer today, and dealers should see their Alesis representatives to pre-order the special edition.

With the release of Andromeda later this year, Alesis adds to a substantial synthesizer line, which includes keyboards, sound modules, and most recently, digital piano products.
