Dan Dean Productions Releases "Dan Dean
Solo Strings" for NemeSys GigaSampler"Dan Dean Solo Strings" a library comprised
of Solo Violin, Solo Viola and Solo Cello for GigaSampler, sets a new
standard in sound quality and realism. September 25, 2000Highly regarded in the music
industry, sampling wizard Dan Dean announced the release of his new "Dan
Dean Solo Strings" CD-ROM for GigaSampler® and GigaStudio® today.
Priced at $149 (US), this unique library features chromatically sampled
Solo Violin, Solo Viola and Solo Cello.
Each and every note of all of the instruments has been sampled and placed
on the keyboard. There is absolutely no transposition, pitch-shifting
or stretching effects typically found in other libraries. This feature
creates digital instruments of the highest caliber, where all of the harmonics
of each note are true. Another important by-product of chromatic sampling
is constant body resonance. Any note can be played anywhere on the instruments
and the body resonance remains the same.
A number of articulations such as: Arco Vibrato, Staccato, Pizzicato,
Tremelo, Half-Step Trill and Whole-Step Trill are included in each bank.
An amazing new feature found only in GigaSampler and GigaStudio called
"keyswitching" allows the keyboardist instant access to all of the articulations
in real time at the touch of a key. Because of the considerable sample
sizes of these instruments, only GigaSampler and GigaStudio can support
these libraries without looping or degenerative dithering.
All of these samples were recorded in Stereo using our proprietary recording
techniques. Apogee® Digital converters were used throughout the process
utilizing Apogee's UV-22® process. GML® signal processing and
Euphonix® equipment were used in the analog side of the recording.
We think these are the best sounding solo strings available today. For more information, visit Nemesys' web site at www.nemesysmusic.com. |
