September 27, 2000

GT Electronics, a division of Alesis Studio Electronics, has announces the inclusion of custom shock mounts with AM Series microphones, (excluding the AM11) at no extra charge. Included in the promotion are six of seven GT Electronics microphones, the AM51 and AM52 large diaphragm FET mics, the AM61 and AM62 large diaphragm tube condensors, and the AM30 and AM40 mid-size 3/4" FET and tube condensors respectively.

Product marketing manager Randy Neiman explains, "Traditionally, custom-designed shock mounts have been an accessory item, costing customers as much as fifty dollars. We wanted to add that value directly to the microphones."
