PRESS RELEASE

SPL Introduces Stereo Q

(Click for a close-up)
September 25, 2000

At AES Booth # 1611, German manufacturer SPL will be introducing Stereo Q, the first stereo equalizer in its range for engineers and musicians requiring direct processing of stereo signals.

Stereo Q offers time saving, user friendly adjustments via a single control for both channels. Precise operation with minimum tolerances maintains the integrity of stereo programs.

Based upon SPL’s high Q serial filter design, the Stereo Q provides three fully parametric bands (low, mid and high), as well as sub bass and air band EQ. Stereo width is controlled via 3D Enhancer circuitry.

Both in engineering components and sound quality, Stereo Q satisfies the most demanding requirements. In the studio, Stereo Q is well suited for mixing and mastering applications. Musicians will find Stereo Q ideal for designing or correcting stereo signals, as it adjusts to effects without compromising volume.

SPL is a German manufacturer of audio signal processing equipment for recording, broadcast, mastering and post-production applications and is distributed exclusively in the U.S. by Group One Ltd. of Farmingdale, New York.
