September 22, 2000Telex Communications is displaying two new headphones at AES, Booth #440. Telex's new PH-44 and PH-88 headphones are modified versions of the company's PH-4 and PH-8 headphones. These new models have been redesigned to offer more durability and higher performance, while building upon many of the successful design elements of their predecessors.
"The PH-44 and PH-88 have been designed to offer a tighter fit around the ears, resulting in better isolation from outside noise, as well as increased fidelity and intelligibility," says Talal Aly-Youssef, Product Manager for Headset Products at Telex. "These new headphones are a great fit, literally, for sound contractors and other audio professionals requiring high-fidelity audio monitoring through their headsets. Also, earpieces covered in mole skin rather than foam lend to the headphones' improved comfort and sonic performance."
The lightweight PH-44 and PH-88 also feature high-quality monaural dynamic earphones with a dynamic noise-canceling microphone on an adjustable boom. The PH-44 carries a list price of $155, while the PH-88 lists for $145. For more information, visit their web site at www.telex.com. |
