World Class Reverb One from Digidesign

Digidesign is pleased to announce the release of Reverb One. A world-class reverb processing plug-in for Pro Tools TDM, Reverb One is the first reverb plug-in to match the sonic qualities of today's most expensive hardware units. Making use of Pro Tools MIX DSP power and the familiar controls found on reverb hardware units, this new plug-in allows users to create a wide and rich range of new reverb sounds. Dedicated to a single MIX chip, Reverb One makes full use of the DSP processing cycles of Pro Tools. The painstaking development behind Reverb One results in a lush range of ambience. With fully automated real-time processing of all parameters, multiple use on Pro Tools|24 MIX systems, and inexpensive pricing, Reverb One elevates beyond the limitations of traditional hardware reverb units.

Simple, yet extensive, presets are easily manipulated from an intuitive user interface. A single window provides all the settings, a continuously updating and interactive reverb envelope display, and online help for all parameters. Unique to Reverb One is a set of software shaping tools that allow users to customize the characteristics of the reverberant space to match their needs. Equalization, modulation, decay optimizations and room reflections help modify the character and ambience of the reverb. A wide range of presets provides the user with a comprehensive palette of reverb programs. From a small, natural and clear ambient to hard unnatural echoes, the creative scope that Reverb One provides outstrips most units on the market today.

Reverb One is a cross-platform TDM plug-in for both Mac OS and Windows NT Pro Tools|24 MIX and MIXplus systems. Reverb One requires Pro Tools software version 5.0 or higher. Reverb One will be available soon from authorized Digidesign retailers.
