IMEASY is a professional audio spatialisation system in real-time employing
software for MacOS or Windows NT with a 3D graphic interface in Open GL and
a 24bit/48kHz PCI card with 4 SHARC 21065L processors. The 96 kHz feature
will be available in a next release.The in/out connections are in ADAT optical
format, which allows you to choose the necessary converters from among the
various ADAT converters available on the market.
IMEASY's basic version provides up to sixteen audio signals (8 ADAT inputs and 8
hard disk) which can freely move in 3D space in real-time. The proprietary algorithm
used allows for spatialisation realization even in extreme conditions, as well as
instantaneous adaptations for new setup conditions. For example, if one of the
speakers goes out, all you need to do is to put a mute on its virtual representation
and the card will continue to spatialize with the remaining speakers. Listeners are
aware the spatialisation from any point in any space they may be in.This is true for
movement, as well as for original sound sources.
The management software makes possible the editing of trajectories, playback from
hard disk and the exportation to disk of final spatializations in a multi-track audio file
format.
Originally created for Live events,but useful for any kind of "spatialized" sound
environment, IMEASY provides a simple solution for installation and use in theaters,
discotechs, theme parks, or other important public spaces.
The IMEASY Macintosh version is also DirectConnect Digidesign compatible and
can be used with a ProTools system or a compatible audio sequencer for the perfect
integration of audio movement in 3D scenes in Video games, or even for the
programming of Dolby Surround in post-production, in a much easier manner. The
software interfaces via MIDI and synchronizes in SMPTE/MTC with any sequencer
or compatible external equipment.Trajectories can be imported or exported to be
modified in the user's preferred work environment.
