Retro Expansion Card Series Announced for Eventide's DSP7000

Eventide announced the launch of a new series of retro expansion cards for its DSP7000 effects processor. Targeted at lovers of the classic Eventide DSP4000 series, these cards exactly recreate the classic sounds of these boxes. Included in the series are the DSP4000, DSP4500, GTR4000, and DSP4000B Broadcast Library, as well as rare GTR-II guitar effects library. Users of the DSP7000 can now recall the exact presets with the exact same patch number and algorithms.
"There's a big market for our classic products," says Ray Maxwell, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, "People call us all the time trying to buy DSP4000's and GTR4000s. Those units have been discontinued for some time now. With these new cards, however, users can have both a DSP7000 with all of its killer new effects and their favorite sounds from the renowned 4000 series too."
