Studio Projects is making studio owners' lives easier with the B Series microphones, featuring a new internal suspension system to totally isolate the capsule from the body of the microphone. This new "isolation cone" (Isocone) eliminates the need for a shock mount suspension clamp during use.
The Studio Projects B1 condenser microphone is a large diaphragm cardoid microphone in a pressure-gradient transducer employing high quality transformerless design and extremely low noise. Featuring a single 1" 3 micron Mylar capsule, fixed cardoid pattern, and solid construction the B1 is useful for production, broadcast, and voice over work.
The Studio Projects B3 offers three recording pattern positions (cardoid, omni and a true figure eight) with a pad and Hi-Pass filter, and comes equipped with a dual 1" 3 micron gold sputtered large diaphragm capsule.
The TB1 is a vacuum tube (valve) microphone that incorporates the philosophy that the best microphones offer high quality with minimal components. Using hand selected 6072 "dual triode" vacuum tubes, pressure-gradient transducers, single 1" 3 micron Mylar capsule and fixed cardoid patterns, the TB1 provides the warm transparent sound associated with an expensive vacuum tube microphone.
