Toft Audio Designs Debuts with ATC and ATC-2 Dual-Channel EQ/Pre/Processor

PMI Audio Group introduced the first two products from Toft Audio Design - the ATC Dual Channel EQ/Mic Pre and the ATC-2 Dual Channel Mic Pre/EQ/Compressor. While the company name may be new, the man behind Toft Audio Designs is none other than Trident Audio founder and renowned engineer Malcom Toft.
The ATC Dual Channel EQ/Mic Pre features two independent channels each with switchable mic/line input, selectable +48 volt phantom power and instrument input - extremely musical four band sweep equalization ranging from 40HZ to 15KHZ in overlapping ranges, and balanced XLR input for mic input, balanced XLR and jack for line input and line output.
The ATC-2 Dual Channel Mic Pre/EQ/Compressor features high quality mic pre-amp with selectable 48 volt phantom power, direct instrument input and selectable line input, classic F.E.T. compressor with variable attack, release and ratio V.U. metering shows gain reduction and output level, and stereo link facility for the two compressors so they can operate individually or as a stereo pair.
