Kurzweil Previews KME-61 at 113th AES

At this year's AES show in the US, Kurzweil revealed details on a new keyboard, the KME-61. This keyboard is still under development and the features listed here are subject to change

KME-61 Features:

  • 256 Presets using samples from the Kurzweil PC-2 Series including: Stereo Triple Strike Piano, Electric Pianos, Strings, Basses, Guitars (Acoustic and Electric), Take 6 Vocals, Brass Drums and Percussion
  • 30 Effects Combinations
  • 32 Multi-Timbral Setups, with up to 3 Zones
  • 61 Note Synth Action Keyboard with Aftertouch
  • Pitch and Modulation Wheels
  • Switch Pedal and Continuous Control Pedal Inputs Jacks. Switch Pedal Included
  • Stereo Audio Outputs, plus Headphone Output MIDI- In/Out/Thru
  • 16 Channel Multi-Timbral
  • 32 Voice Polyphony
  • Change and Store Effects for each of the 256 presets
  • Create and Store 16 Multi-Timbral
