Shure Offers PA821 Antenna Combiner for Personal Monitor Systems

October 14, 2003Shure is now shipping the PA821 active antenna combiner, an innovative new solution that improves both sonic performance and functionality for those creating the most sophisticated personal monitor set-ups. Designed by Shure engineers to improve RF performance by reducing intermodulation distortion, the PA821 active antenna combiner is an eight-input, one-output device compatible with Shure PSM 700, PSM 600, and PSM 400 personal monitor systems.
Capable of combining the output of up to eight PSM wireless transmitters with a single antenna, the wideband (470 MHz-870 MHz) PA821 reduces onstage "antenna farm" clutter, and offers increased range when used with Shure's new PA805WB directional antenna. Occupying only a single rackspace, the unit also comes outfitted with a front panel expansion port to allow for daisy-chaining to additional combiners. Both an auto-sensing universal power supply and AC cables are included for worldwide use.
The PA821 active antenna combiner and PA805WB directional antenna have suggested retail prices of $4983.34 and $360.00 respectively. Both are available for immediate shipment.
