The HEARO Player software from AKG adds IVA processing together with the Lexicon LOGIC7 surround decoder to PCs and laptoo computers without expensive hardware to buy. The software can be installed on a PC or notebook computer as a plug-in for the Windows Media Player 9 Series and provides movie-theater type surround sound through headphones from any audio format such as audio and video CD, MP3, MPEG, AVI, and WAV. The HEARO Player can be easily downloaded from the AKG website. Features
The HEARO Player system automatically checks the available processing power of the PC or notebook computer and sets the algorithm for the IVA surround sound quality level (max, midi, min). You can also set the quality level manually. The demo version of AKG's HEARO Player is free. The full version costs $11.49. For more information, visit their web site at http://www.akg-acoustics.com/.
