Bryston has announced that a Precision D/A Converter option has been added to the BP20 PRO and BP25 PRO Pre-amplifiers, and the B60 PRO Integrated Amplifier. The latest additions to the Bryston product line were designed for recording professionals looking to upgrade monitoring systems attached to computer-based DAWs and digital mixers. The BP20/25DA PRO has two selectable coaxial S/PDIF digital inputs that are routed to a high-performance, 24bit/96kHz stereo D/A converter. The D/A output is then fed through the pre-amp section containing balance and level controls. The output signal is then available on single-ended RCA or balanced XLR, for connection to Active Monitors or Power Amplifiers. At the same time, the record output provides a unity-gain analog output for connection to Analog Mastering Processors and Tape Decks. A headphone output is also provided for added convenience. The B60DA PRO adds the high-quality D/A converter to a full-featured analog pre-amplifier and a 60 Watt-per-channel Stereo Power Amplifier all housed in a single 1U chassis. D/A Features:
The BP20DA is shipping now for an MSRP of $2895. The B60DA, also available now, retails for MSRP $2995. Both are available in a 19-inch (rackmount) configuration.
