McDSP Shows Chrome Tone Plug-In at AES

Chrome Tone Amp

Chrome Tone, McDSP's sixth plug-In for the ProTools platform, is a collection of effects that includes distortion, compression, gating, chorus, flange, EQ, wah, tremolo, spring reverb and tape delay. These effects are designed for a myriad of applications including guitar, keyboards, drums and even voice.

Expected ship date is November 2003, with a retail price of $495. Chrome Tone's initial release will be TDM only for Mac OS9 and OSX, with RTAS support coming in 2004.
