SPL's MTC 2381 volume level control and loudspeaker management combines stereo monitoring with comfortable talkback and cue functions. A fully discrete design dispenses with VCAs, DACs etc., and provides direct analog signal paths, designed for high resolution audio formats like SACD or DVD-A.
There are six rear-panel stereo inputs for four symmetrical and two asymmetrical sources as well as symmetrical XLR outputs for three loudspeaker pairs. The input signal can be routed over a direct slave-output. Monitoring and switching functions include sources and loudspeakers, mono, dim, muting and a headphone output. Individual volume control pencil marking is possible.
The talkback section has a built in microphone, separate output and a foot switch input. The cue-mix also has a separate output and provides musician level, mix level and volume controls.
