Drawing on both the technology of the premium WMS 4000 and WMS 400 systems , AKG engineers have developed a third generation of the successful WMS 40 range that maximizes overall flexibility and application-specific focus. WMS 40 PRO components include handheld and body pack transmitters. Instrument transmitters can be combined with AKG head-worn, handheld and lavalier MicroMics. WMS 40 PRO systems are tailor-made for vocalists, musicians, lecturers, coaches, trainers, worship leaders.

The new WMS 40 PRO series includes three distinct ranges. WMS 40 PRO FLEXX Diversity systems provide three selectable frequencies per channel, for up to nine inter-modulation free channels. WMS 40 PRO Single systems operate on fixed frequencies. The WMS 40 Pro Dual provides two independent channels of the WMS 40 Pro series within a single receiver. Application-specific Dual systems combine components such as the GB40 guitarbug, head-worn microphones, handheld mics and lavalier mics, thus providing for a multitude of potential users.
