ATH-T22 and ATH-T44 Added to A-T's Headphone Lineup

Audio-Technica was showing the ATH-T44 and ATH-T22 Dynamic Stereo Headphones at this AES Convention. The new models utilize A-T's latest transducer technology and a design engineered to provide maximum comfort for hours of listening. In addition, both models are available at extremely affordable price points.

The ATH-T44 Dynamic Stereo Headphones feature a circumaural, closed-back design providing exceptional clarity and superior isolation in high-volume listening situations. The headphones utilize 40 mm drivers with high-output neodymium magnets and copper-clad aluminum wire voice coils. The ATH-T44's also have an extended frequency response of 18 – 23,000 Hz, and a sensitivity of 108 dB, providing rich bass response with an extended high end. Additionally, they employ rotating earpieces as well as a lightweight, self-adjusting headband to ensure maximum listening comfort with minimal ear fatigue. Featuring a gold-plated stereo 1/8" (3.5 mm) connector with strain relief and snap-on 1/4" (6.3 mm) adapter, as well as a sturdy, ultra-flexible 9.8" (3.0 m) cable, and weighing a mere 6.7 ounces, the ATH-T44's are the perfect choice for discriminating recording enthusiasts.

The ATH-T22 Dynamic Stereo Headphones feature a low profile, circumaural, closed-back design providing maximum power handling capability with a clean, linear low-end response.

Also offering excellent clarity and isolation in high-volume listening situations, the ATH-T22 headphones utilize proprietary 40 mm drivers. With a frequency response of 20 – 22,000 Hz and a sensitivity of 100 dB, the ATH-T22's employ rotating earpieces as well as a lightweight, self-adjusting headband that provides maximum listening comfort. Featuring a gold-plated stereo 1/8" (3.5 mm) connector with strain relief and snap-on 1/4" (6.3 mm) adapter, as well as a sturdy, ultra-flexible 9.8" (3.0 m) cable, the lightweight (6.0 ounce) ATH-T22's are a cost-effective choice for accurate audio monitoring.

The ATH-T44 headphones have a U.S. MSRP of $79.95 while the ATH-T22 have a U.S. MSRP of $59.95. Both models will be available in September 2005.
