Mice Technologies publicly unveiled dj pro, bimanual (two-handed) DJ software, and other applications at the Audio Engineering Society (AES) Show. The technology behind dj pro will enable the DJ community to bring the finesse and skill sets of the analog world to the computer. The product may be used as a VSTi plugin or as a standalone by opening the MiceHost, also included. It ships with two preconfigured and matching mice, a no-latency 'crossfader mouse', a 700mb DJ Content CD, a full installation disc (including dj pro, Record Crate and the MiceHost), an owner's manual, and full support. The entire package will be available in Q1 of 2006. dj pro is based on Mice Tech's patent-pending technology which enables independent multiple inputs to the computer. The programs enable two-handed input while working seamlessly with all other forms and sources of input; including MIDI-keyboard, typed commands, touch-pad, trackball, foot pad, and pen mouse.
