Great River Electronics Introduces The MAQ-2NV Stereo Master EQ
October 06, 2006
Advertisement Great River Electronics is pleased to announce the AES debut of the new MAQ-2NV, a stereo mastering equalizer based on the much-respected EQ-2NV. Built to satisfy personal requests from mastering engineers who have heard the EQ-2NV, it features the same Class-A inductor-based circuitry, with extended high and low frequency ranges. The MAQ-2NV also features EQ gain switches, linkable channel control, and very low frequency high pass filters. The MAQ-2NV is the newest addition to the line of Mercenary Edition products hand-built by Great River. Those interested in seeing and hearing this elegant new mastering EQ are encouraged to stop by Booth 1126 at the 121st AES Convention for a test-drive (at the Moscone Center in San Francisco from October 6th through 8th). Great River's Dan Kennedy will be in the booth to answer any and all questions - as long as they concern Mic Preamps, EQs, Class-A, or the finer points of West Coast micro-brewed beverages. The street price for the MAQ-2NV is approximately $4100.00. For more information, visit their web site at http://www.greatriverelectronics.com/.
