Soundcraft Debuts Series Two Console

Soundcrafts new Series TWO, which makes its first US
appearance at the 107th AES Convention in New York City, is a compact live sound
console aimed at small touring sound companies, theaters, churches and other fixed
installations. Taking full advantage of Soundcrafts advanced manufacturing
techniques, the desk combines a high level of features and performance in a cost-effective
package.
Available
in 24, 32 and 40 mono channel frame sizes with two fully featured stereo line
inputs on each model, the Series TWO is built into a new frame offering classic
three-tier raked styling for excellent visibility of control settings. An integral
meterbridge provides input and output metering on LED bargraphs.
The consoles wide-range input stage offers switchable 48V Phantom Power
and Phase Reverse. A variable-frequency High Pass Filter with separate In/Out
switch is available on each channel, as is Soundcrafts classic four-band
EQ with two sweepable mids and EQ In/Out switch. A generous eight mono Auxes have
Pre/Post Fader switching in pairs and a Pre/Post EQ switch, while eight Group
busses are routable in pairs plus Left, Right and Mono (center).
Direct Outs with Pre buttons on each channel enable the Series TWO to feed
out to multitrack recording devices during live performances. The desks
Master section is equipped with all of the typical pro amenities, such as SOLO
(PFL and SIP), Talkback and 2-track returns.

- MIDI Mute system with eight manual Mute Groups
- 128 MIDI-controllable Mute snapshots
