TC WORKS, an audio plug-in developer, is porting its TC
Native Bundle software to the MOTU Audio System (MAS), Mark of the Unicorn's (MOTU)
native digital audio recording and plug-in processing environment for Mac OS.
As a result, users of Digital Performer, MOTU's flagship audio sequencer software,
and users of AudioDesk, the Macintosh audio workstation software bundled with
MOTU's popular 2408 and 1224 hard disk recording systems, will be able to run
TC's Native Reverb and the other highly sought-after TC plug-ins directly within
their MOTU software's virtual mixing environment in real time.
"Digital Performer and AudioDesk users demand the very best audio processing
available," commented Jim Cooper, MOTU's Marketing Director. "And we
are thrilled that TC Works is now supplying them with what is widely regarded
as the best native reverb plug-in ever developed."
Ralf Schlünzen, Managing Director of TC Works said, "Digital Performer
users have been asking us to support them for a long time. We're excited to finally
offer them our plug-ins - running native in their MAS environment, and we look
forward to their feedback."
The TC Works Native Bundle plug-ins are based on DSP technology developed by
TC Works' parent companany, Denmark-based TC Electronic, a world leader in advanced
audio effects processing. TC Electronic is especially known for its highly-regarded,
natural-sounding digital reverb. The TC Works Native Bundle includes five plug-ins:
the TC Native Reverb; EQ P, a 10 band parametric equalizer; EQ G, a 28 band graphic
equalizer; DeX, a flexible dynamics processor with De-essing and compression;
and Native L, a powerful limiter and level maximizer.
The TC|Works Native Bundle will ship Q4 1999. List price is $599.
