Yamaha REV100 Digital Reverberator
June 1, 1995The Yamaha REV100 offers a selection of 99 editable reverb programs includes Stereo Reverb, Gated Reverb, Reverb plus Flanger, and Delays. Each of these programs offers control of three parameters, including decay, delay time, and balance of wet and dry signal to allow the user to build custom programs.
The REV100 offers rack-mountable, true stereo processing with two inputs and two outputs. The REV100 uses 16 bit A/D and D/A conversion at 44.1kHz.
The front panel has rotary controls for the most significant effects parameters. An LED indicator next to each control illuminates when a parameter value matches the preset value, and an input level control and peak LEDs are included to optimize input signal levels.
The REV100 has aMIDI IN connection so effects programs can be selected using MIDI Program Change commands. Program numbers are displayed using a two-digit, seven-segment LEDs.
