Stewart Guitar Company Announces New Over-Nighter (TM) Travel Guitars

Stewart Guitar Company is pleased to announce the newest addition to their family of full size, full scale "travel friendly" guitars, the Over-Nighter(TM). The Over-Nighter(TM) features a solid Alder wood body, (flamed Maple top optional), in the traditional double cut-away styling, three single coil pickups, (humbuckers optional), a 25 & 1/2" scale maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, and a headless ABM Tuning System. A built-in electronic tuner provides quick and convenient tuning.
As with all Stewart guitars, the heart of the Over-Nighter(TM) is a specially designed and patented neck connection system called the Clip-Joint(TM). The Clip-Joint(TM) allows removal of the neck in a matter of seconds without tools and without removing or detuning the strings. Equally important, the Clip-Joint(TM) also allows reassembly of the Over-Nighter(TM) in seconds without tools. When disassembled, the neck of the Over-Nighter(TM) fits in a diagonal storage cavity in the back of the body itself and the body and neck stores neatly in a (furnished) 13 x 17 x 4 inch gig bag the size of a briefcase. An optional hard case Is also available.
Easy to carry on aircraft, trains, and buses, Over-Nighter(TM) is equally at home on stage, practicing in a hotel room, or just jamming with friends. For those players that need the discrete travel features provided by the headless tuning system of the Over-Nighter(TM), but prefer the more traditional look of a headstock when gigging, the Over-Nighter(TM) "Plus" option comes with two interchangeable necks. A headless neck for easy travel or storage and a full headstock neck complete with locking tuners.
