Edirol Announces USB Audio Support for Roland ED UA-30 on Mac OS

Edirol Corporation announces USB audio support for Roland ED UA-30 on Macintosh OS. In response to many requests for Mac USB audio from hobbyist, musicians, and audio specialists, the new driver from Apple's OS 9.0.4, is compatible with Roland ED UA-30 audio interface.

This USB powered audio interface provides all the connections you need to record, playback, and monitor high-quality audio from your desktop or laptop computer. Connect anything, mini-disc, CD players, DAT, analog, optical or coaxial devices. Record a guitar or microphone using UA-30's built in microphone and guitar pre-amps and experience the unparalleled audio quality of its' 20-bit external digital audio converters.

UA-30 is a perfect upgrade from the audio in your Macintosh, and is compatible with all Apple Macintosh computers with built-in USB. Apple's iBook computers were designed to use USB as the only audio input method, enabling the UA-30 to be perfect and only solution available on the market today.

Retail price is set at $325 U.S., and is currently shipping with Windows 98 drivers. Macintosh drivers are available as an OS update from Apple's web site.
