| PreSonus Unveils Acousti-Q Tube Acoustic Preamp/EQ/Blender

PreSonus extends the family of preamps with the
Acousti-Q Tube Acoustic Instrument Preamp/EQ/Blender. Acousti-Q features two tube
preamps for accommodating both pickup and condenser microphone inputs. An
internal mixer allows the user to blend the two signals to XLR outputs.
Next, the Acousti-Q provides a comprehensive EQ section that includes a
tunable notch filter, Brilliance and Bass controls along with a sweepable
midrange control. An external footswitch input allows the performer to mute
the overall output and also engage a preset cut/boost for adjusting the
overall volume without touching a knob. In addition, Acousti-Q has a stereo
effects loop return for patching in outboard processing such as stereo
reverb.
Acousti-Q is housed in a 1/2U Rack steel chassis and can be
rackmounted with an optional PreSonus BMRA Rack adapter which also
accommodates the PreSonus BlueTube and BlueMax products. Projected US Retail
Price is $299.95.
