| MS 1 Mic Preamp Design Upgraded
 March 20, 2001
Rane has taken their MS 1a Mic Stage preamp and made improvements in several areas, resulting in the new MS 1b. The new model boasts 120 dB dynamic range and an frequency response of 30 Hz–200 kHz. The new
design features the popular Burr-Brown mic preamp chip which boosts performance tremendously. The MS 1b replaces the MS 1a in the Rane product line.
Performance improvements over the MS 1a include:
Better Gain Range
Increased input level
Greater Dynamic Range
Improved Frequency Response
More Output Level
