Burns USA is now making the Club Classic Series guitars exclusive line available in North America. Burns USA proudly announces the introduction of; the Steer, Double Six, Burns Marquee, Marquee Special, Marquee Bass, Bison and Bison Bass.

Originally developed in 1979, the Steer guitar has a unique construction, a solid Alder body routed out on both sides of the pickup cavity to lighten guitar, creating a more airy and earthy sound. It has a solid top, fitted with a Burns split humbucker pickup at the bridge and a single coil rhythm pickup at the neck. The humbucker can be transposed at the flick of a switch, into a single coil pickup.

The Double Six is a unique solid-body twelve-string guitar, featuring a classic Burns designed headstock, an Alder body with classic polyester finish, hard rock maple neck with 25.5" scale and rose-wood fingerboard, chrome Gotoh bridge with stop tailpiece and three chrome Tri-Sonic pickups.

Based on the successful Burns Legend guitar, the Burns Marquee is a faithful reproduction of the '60s classic. Voted Guitar of the Year 1999 by Guitarist Magazine, features include Point Technologies knife edge Tremolo system, five-way pickup selector with push/pull control on tone knob for additional pick-up combinations, attractive gold hardware, and 22 fret/25.5" scale-figured maple or rosewood fingerboard. The Marquee Special is a new design based on the classic Burns Marquee body shape. The "Special" generates the same flexible tone characteristics of the Marquee, with seven unique pick-up combinations. It features a bound body with flame top and matching headstock, locking machine heads with gold hardware as standard. The Marquee Bass replicates a classic Burns design of the "jazz" bass with offset waist and the traditional Burns "Bat-wing" headstock. Featuring three Burns Tri-Sonic style bass pickups, and five-way pickup selector with push/pull control for providing seven pickup combinations.

Introduced in 1961 as the Black Bison--a landmark guitar in British guitar history--the Club Series Bison is a faithful recreation of the classic three-pickup guitar, complete with the original flat "Bat-wing" headstock and its unique pickup/tone selector system. The Bison features the authentic Burns Tri-Sonic pickups, with a unique wiring configuration, providing a wide range of tonal effects, which include the unique Wild Dog and Split Sound combinations. The Bison Bass is modeled after the 1962 issue of the bass version of the Bison. It has a 34-inch scale and features a Gotoh-style bridge. Bass versions of the Tri-Sonic pickups are used with the same wiring configuration as the Bison guitar. The Bison unique tonal combinations are available from the pickup selector controls.
