AAKG Acoustics' recent introduction of the
Project Pack is designed to meet a broad range of recording needs. Combining
all-purpose C1000S condenser microphone together with a
C3000B 1" diaphragm condenser mic, the Project Pack is for musicians
building a home recording studio or pros updating their
equipment. The Project Pack includes a durable carrying case along with a
free H-100 Spider Suspension and a SA-43 Stand Adaptor. The $399.00
suggested MSRP offers a substantial savings compared to purchasing the two
mics separately.
"The Project Pack is perfect for home recording or professional studios,"
remarks Tom Stotler, AKG Acoustics' Market Development Manager Music and
Touring Sound. "Both mics are extremely diverse and versatile in the studio.
Offering them both at such an incredible price -- with a carrying case -- is
sure to make the Project Pack a big hit."
The Project Pack, contained in a hard shell black carrying case with a
handle, includes not only the two mics, the H-100 Spider Suspension, and the
SA-43 Stand Adaptor, but also a special Tips & Tricks brochure designed
specifically for the C1000S and the C3000B. The brochure contains valuable
information on the microphones various applications, as well as their
technical specifications.
The C1000S' PPC1000 polar pattern converter allows quick
changeover from cardioid to hypercardioid when a more directional pickup
pattern is required. The small diameter mic can be used to amplify
percussion, horn or woodwind instruments, acoustic guitars, strings, vocals
and even speech applications, making the C1000S the most diverse studio and
stage mic offered by AKG.
The C3000B was designed as a
studio and stage microphone to be used for both vocal and instrumental
recording applications in which large diameter capsule excels. Used for
vocal applications as well for solo instrumentation, the C3000B can be
custom tailored for almost any stage or studio assignment.
