Antares Audio Technologies
announced the release of Filter, a quad rhythmic multimode filter
plug-in for Macintosh and PC.
Antares Filter is designed to give composers, producers, remixers and
engineers everything they need to harmonically shape their tracks with
surgical precision or animate them with an almost limitless variety of
tempo-synced rhythmic effects
At the core of Filter are four true stereo, analog-style multimode filters. With low-pass, highpass, bandpass and notch modes, variable
cutoff slope, four independent full-featured delay sections, and a
variety of filter routing options, Filter provides the power to create
dynamic filter effects that range from subtle to extreme.
To bring tracks to life, Filter provides modulation capabilities. Virtually all key parameters can be modulated.
Control sources include four multi-shape LFOs, four Envelope Generators
with delay and hold times, two Rhythm Generators, an Envelope Follower
and up to 28 MIDI controllers.
Filter also includes features specifically targeted at rhythmic,
groove-based music composition. Chief among them are two drum-machine
style Rhythm Generators for the the creation of loop-based grooves or
complex polyrhythms. As importantly, every one of Filter's time-based
parameters -- from tempos, to delay times to envelope rates -- can be
locked to Filter's internal master tempo or to the host's MIDI clock.
Key Filter Features:
- Four analog-sounding stereo multimode filters
- Lowpass, highpass, bandpass and notch modes
- Variable slope: 12dB/oct - 48dB/oct
