PRESS RELEASE

Reincarnation Volume 1 for Karma and Triton Released

July 28, 2003

Karma Lab has released "Reincarnation Vol. 1: Inner Groove" -- a collection of 64 Combis for the Korg Karma & Triton*, making full use of the company's KARMA algorithmic music generation technology. (*Triton version requires KARMA Triton software.)

The result of 1,000+ hours of programming/mixing, Reincarnation includes grooves and sonic textures in a wide variety of styles, ranging from Dance/Hip Hop/Electronica to Rock/Funk to Ambient Pads/Classical/New-Age to Sound FX.

Hip hop fans will find new inspiration with Combis like "eXtasy," while electronica enthusiasts will enjoy tweaking the knobs on the "Kemakl Brothers" Combi. Ambient groove lovers will enjoy the subtleties of "Golden Goddess" while hardcore techno fans can take it to the max with "Rezberry WILD". When you're ready to zone out, experience the intoxicating rhythm of "@DiZzY kiTtY@" or the soothing ocean waves of "Zen & the Art."

Each Combi has been crafted from the ground-up and is composed of a full 4 KARMA GEs (Generated Effects), mixed, and documented in the accompanying 40-page User's Guide (now publicly available on the Karma Lab Web site). The collection also features extensive real-time control via the KARMA Realtime Controls and joystick.

Reincarnation Vol. 1 joins the Chemistry Vol. 1 and 2 Collections of Combis, also available from Karma Lab. In addition, all collections are fully supported by the developers as well as an active, global user community at www.karma-lab.com/forum.

Pricing and Availability

Reincarnation Vol. 1 and Chemistry Vol.1 & 2 are available directly through Karma Lab for U.S. $50 each, with multi-package discounts available. They can be downloaded online or ordered on floppy disk.
