OS 6 for Access Virus Released June 7, 2003
Access Music, the company behind the award winning Virus C synthesizer
Series has released their next generation operating system 6 as a free web
download.
The update supports the Virus C, KC, Indigo2 and rack XL.
OS6 contains 24 new arpeggiator patterns, including some more unusual styles like Reggae, for a total of 64patterns. The update also includes PureTuning, a system that analyzes the chords being played and can then make the proper changes on the fly to provide just tuning and perfect harmonic alignment.
OS 6 also provides a number of control panel shortcuts so you can quickly access parameters without digging through so many menus, an improved timing and sync engine, as well as
loads of bug fixes and refinements.
A new version of SoundDiver Virus which supports the new Virus parameters is
also available from the Access Music web site. Their site also contains some audio examples of the new arpeggiator patterns and the PureTuning in actionl For more information, visit their web site at www.access-music.de. |
