New VST Format Reverb Plug-In from Princeton Digital
October 17, 2004
Princeton Digital announced the 2016
Stereo Room, a VST compliant reverb plug-in for Windows hosts. Stereo Room
is one of the reverbs from the Eventide SP2016.
"When we announced the Reverb 2016 as a plug-in suite for another platform,
we had a number of impassioned pleas for a VST compatible version," said
Tony Agnello, President of Princeton Digital. "With the release of Stereo
Room, VST users now have access to this high quality parametric reverb."
Stereo Room processes two input channels and creates a pair of diffuse
reverberant outputs. It offers parameters for pre-delay, decay time,
diffusion, EQ, and a unique position control. The position control simulates
placing the listener anywhere within the simulated room allowing the reverb
to "sit" in the mix without cluttering it up.
2016 Stereo Room supports sample rates of 44.1, 48, and 96 kHz. System
requirements include Windows and a VST host application.
It is priced at $200 and is available now.
