Essential Rhythm Offers Over 600 Loops for Acid
May 12, 2004
George Pendergast, of Dishwalla fame, has released Essential Rhythm, a diverse assortment of his grooves, breaks and fills, organized by tempo. Purchasers may use them royalty-free with Acid or with any .WAV compatible audio program, including ProTools, Cubase, Logic, Reason and many more.
Also included are samples of Misha Feldman (currently with The Pen15 Club, featured on the hit TV show "The Simple Life," and former bassist of Summercamp), percussionist Chester Coolie (currently performing with Big Bad Voodoo Daddy), and engineer, guitarist and producer Thom Flowers (The Ataris, Bad Astronaut, The Rosewood Fall, Sugarcult, Lagwagon, and countless others) so that you have additional elements for your rock, pop, alternative, or experimental song.
Pure rock performances, and the addition of a handful of simple acoustic guitar and electric bass elements, set this library apart in a dance beat saturated market.
The recording sessions took place in Santa Barbara, CA at Orange Whip Studios, a facility that has been frequented by major league locals like The Ataris and Toad The Wet Sprocket. All of the loops are in 24 bit/.wav format and are "Acidized" for use with Sony Media's Acid music software.
This library and the complete selection of guitar and bass elements will soon be available as AppleLoops as well, for use in Macintosh applications like Soundtrack and Garage Band. For more information, visit their web site at www.georgeloops.com. |
