Diamond Guitar Pedals Releases J-Drive Clean Boost/Overdrive

Diamond Guitar Pedals has added the J-Drive to its line of hand built guitar pedals. The J-Drive is an independently switchable combination clean boost and overdrive pedal built using premium 2% polypropylene caps, 1% metal film resistors, and an audiophile-grade opamp in the overdrive circuit.
The clean boost circuit is entirely discrete, and consists of a high impedance JFET transistor input stage, bipolar transistor gain and output stages, all controlled by a simple gain control. The traditional overdrive cut/boost tone control has been replaced by a variable frequency low-pass filter with variable gain. As the amount of high-frequency rolloff is increased in this 'Warmth' control, gain within the filter is also increased, offering unique tonal variations. The clean boost and overdrive circuits can be operated simultaneously, with the clean boost further driving the overdrive into a thick harmonic structure.
Other features include true bypass switching, selectable levels of overdrive compression, the option to use a standard negative tip 9V adapter, and a genuine Hammond aluminum enclosure.
