Version 4.0 is more than just another update. It is a milestone in the history of Emagic's R&D organization. In particular, the Windows version can be expected to be far superior to any other integrated midi/Digital Audio/Scoring package available for the PC platform today. In fact, Emagic has rewritten Logic Audio for Windows from scratch in order to bring you this remarkably powerful 4.0 release. This release firmly entrenches Emagic as the Industries foremost innovator of professional quality music production software. Logic Audio 4.0. Features Logic Audio 4.0 now supports 24 bit/96 kHz digital audio recording. In addition, version 4.0 of Logic Audio now includes a total of 31 (thirty-one!) high end audio Plug-Ins. Version 4.0 also introduces a completely new graphic user interface.
