TC Electronic Launches G-Card at Summer NAMM July 10, 1998Summer NAMM, booth 1243. TC Electronic is demonstrating the new G-Card, a custom artist preset card for the acclaimed G-Force guitar multi-effects processor. The G-Card contains 245 presets developed by some of the most respected guitarists in the industry. Presets are partitioned into three banks on a PCMCIA card and can be called up from the front panel or by MIDI program change.
"The list of people involved in programming for the G-Card reads like a who's who of guitarists," commented Warren Weinberg, TC Electronic National Product Manager. "It was a pleasure to work closely with them and get their input on new and creative ways to use the G-Force. It was amazing to see just how far they were able to go to achieve a sound that would normally be impossible to create on a single effects processor."
Over 25 top artists were involved in the creation of the G-Card including - Steve Vai, Paul Jackson Jr., Eric Johnson, John Jorgenson, Frank Gambale, Dweezil Zappa, Trey Gunn, Vernon Reid, David Torn, David 'Fuze' Fiuczynski, Jerry McPherson, Henry Marx and a host of others.
Retail price for the G-Card is $149. For more information, visit their web site at
