Yamaha Corporation of America, Professional Audio Group has added two completely new models to its successful Club IV Series Speaker line. The new high performance S215IV is a double 15-inch, two-way loudspeaker with high-efficiency cast- frame woofers and a 2-inch titanium high frequency driver, making for tight, punchy low end. The new SW215IV is a dual 15-inch subwoofer with high power handling. It has been built with space restrictions in mind, and can easily fit under a 2-ft. stage.

"These two new Club IV models bring even higher performance into the Club Series line," states John Schauer, product manager, Professional Audio Group. "We believe they are the best in the Club IV Series and that there will be heavy interest from the DJ and club community as well as small theater installations." The new Club IV Series S215IV double loudspeaker and SW215IV dual subwoofer are available at $799 and $749 MSRP, respectively. Units began delivery in May, 1998.

The new SW215IV double 15-in. subwoofer features 3-inch voice coils and large magnet structures to produce high levels of low frequency audio. The S215IV full-range loudspeaker features a trapezoid-style cabinet for seamless array arcs, and a new crossover network for excellent power handling and smooth frequency response. As with all Club IV models, the two new versions have built-in driver protection to ward against component damage. Both units are carpet-covered and metal corner protectors shelter speakers from extreme circumstances. Two input jacks mounted on a metal jack plate allow for loop-through connections. Sockets for pole mounting are provided on both models.
