Samson Introduces TM600 Powered Mixer
with Effects July 26, 1999The new TM600 is a 14-channel powered mixer with built-in signal processing
and three 200 watt amplifiers to power both stereo front of house and
monitor speakers. Its compact table top design is ideal for small club
venues, lounge acts and other sound reinforcement applications.
This versatile unit starts with a comprehensive mixer section that includes
10 mono channels with balanced XLR mic and 1/4" line inputs, trim
controls, 3-band EQ, 1 Aux and 1 Monitor send, Pan controls and channel
inserts. It also includes 2 stereo channels with 1/4" balanced TRS
Left/Right and XLR inputs, 2-band EQ, 1 Aux and 1 Monitor send and Balance
controls.
The TM600's three power amps produce 200 watts a channel into 4 ohms
and feature a fan-cooled, switching design for greater stability and long
life.
A built in DSP section provides 16 different effects including reverbs,
delays, gates, flanging and more with up to 16 variations for a total
of 256. The TM600's channel EQ sections are complemented with a dual 7-band
graphic EQ that can be used as the stereo main and monitor EQ.
Exceptionally rugged and reliable, the TM600 also includes a wealth
of features. These include three 5-segment LED meters for L/R main, Monitor
and PFL; 65mm faders on each channel; peak overload indicators on each
channel; two master Aux returns; PFL (Pre-Fader Listen) on each channel;
Tape In and Record Out RCA connectors; a Global phantom power switch and
more.
