With increased demand for more Ibanez high end models, Ibanez has expanded its upper range with Prestige versions of many of its lines of electric guitars and basses. "Our limited edition J Custom models have been very well received in 1997 and our dealers told us they needed more upper end Ibanez models in our regular lines," said Masashi Inoue of Hoshino USA.
