Peavey Releases 412TXFTM Bass Enclosure
January 29, 1998
Peavey Electronics Corporation is proud to introduce the 412TXFTM bass enclosure. The 412TXF offers four custom-designed 12" Kevlar®-impregnated SheffieldTM woofers and a phenolic dome tweeter. The enlarged front-mounted port provides increased low frequency output and less distortion than traditional designs, and the internal crossover is especially designed to improve midrange definition in addition to significant low end and clean highs.
The 412TXF is rated at 4 ohms and is capable of handling an input power of up to 900 watts. The enclosure can easily handle lows down to 30 Hz. An L-pad attenuator has been designed into the crossover so that the amount of high frequency content can be tailored for any type playing style or particular sound, and a high frequency protection circuit has been incorporated into the crossover to help protect the horn from overpowering.
A full range 1/4" input is provided, and the 412TXF comes complete with heavy-duty, black carpet covering, heavy-duty recessed handles and pop-out casters for greater portability. Also, the mechanical design features custom matrix bracing, which reduces wall movement and improves air flow. For more information, visit their web site at www.peavey.com. |
