Peavey Releases RangerTM 212 Combo Amplifier
January 29, 1998
Peavey Electronics Corporation is pleased to introduce the RangerTM 212, an all-tube, 120 watt combo amp featuring two 12" Blue Marvel® speakers specifically designed for guitarists needing a versatile amp with more power, a warm, clean sound, and a very versatile Clean channel.
The Clean channel features volume, Bright switch, and three-band passive EQ. The Lead channel starts with pre- and post-gain controls, then follows with the three-band passive EQ. Further control is provided by a Bright switch, channel selector, midrange shift and boost switches. The Master section includes a specially designed reverb reminiscent of 60s tube amps. For additional vintage appeal, Peavey has incorporated a tremolo section with speed and intensity controls and Peavey's patented power amp resonance and presence first featured on the Classic® Series amps. A master level control and footswitchable effects loop completes the Master section.
