sets a new standard with its line of HP digital pianos. The new HP-555G, HP-535,
HP-335, HP-245, HP-236 and HP-126 join this best-selling line-up.
Stunning
stereo sampled piano sounds provide all the expressive brilliance of a full concert
grand piano in every HP Digital Piano. These outstanding instruments feature furniture
style cabinets, built-in effects and some of the finest 88-note hammer-action
keyboards available. With this expanded line-up, Roland offers a digital piano
to fit every performance need while fitting into every musician's budget. The
new HP-126 is designed for first-time players and used piano buyers. It features
stereo piano sampling for uncompromised acoustic piano sounds. The HP-126 also
offers three additional sounds: electric piano, harpsichord and pipe organ, easily
selectable during start-up, like its reverb and chorus functions. The HP-126's
new 88-note weighted hammer-action keyboard gives a superior piano performance
never before found on an entry-level digital piano. The HP-126 has two headphone
jacks that make it ideal for lessons, duet playing, as well as for silent practice.
Its elegant dark rosewood finish adds beauty to any room. The new HP-236 incorporates
the resonance, sensitivity and the powerful sounds of an acoustic piano into a
musician-friendly, priced-to-sell digital piano. The HP-236 offers true stereo
sampling of the best concert grand pianos, as well as other traditional sounds:
harpsichord, vibraphone, electric piano, pipe organ and strings. Other features
include an 88-note hammer-action keyboard, built-in metronome, three gold pedals
and two headphone jacks. The HP-236 also features both MIDI and serial computer
interfaces. With these connections, a player can use the HP-236 with a personal
computer to discover the exciting possibilities of MIDI music software. The
HP-245 is a moderately priced, performance-oriented digital piano. An 88-note
hammer-action keyboard, stereo-sampled sounds and 64-voice polyphony give the
HP-245 the complete expressive range of an acoustic piano. Other features include
a built-in two-track realtime sequencer, a metronome function, microphone input
with echo and a powerful stereo sound system. Combined, these features give the
HP-245 incredible "playability" at an affordable price. The HP-335 is a great
trade-up, redefining the digital piano. In addition to the traditional digital
piano sounds, it features more than 250 high-quality GS instrument sounds, from
honky-tonk piano and harpsichord to violin and flute, as well as sound effects
including footsteps, wind, stream, ocean waves and church bells. The HP-335's
new Pianist(tm) function lets keyboardists play along with piano-only accompaniments
ranging from country to gospel to boogie woogie-by playing simple left-hand chords.
Players can even make digital recordings on the three-track sequencer. The traditional
design and rosewood finish of the HP-335 make it a striking addition to any decor.
Stepping further up the line, the new HP-535 also features Roland's acclaimed
hammer-action keyboard and key sensitivity adjustable to 60 levels. Along with
its stunning new piano sounds, the HP-535 offers more than 250 high-quality GS
instrument sounds ranging from the vibraphone to the bass guitar and saxophone
to popular synthesizer sounds. The HP-535 also includes adjustable digital
effects-a rich chorus, reverberation and Sympathetic resonance. Its user-friendly
interface, large custom LCD and three-track recording system make the HP-535 ideal
for learning and performing. In addition to traditional metronome sounds, you
can select a dog, cat or vocal count-in. Additional "human-touches" include a
bouncing ball metronome display, giving players a musically-flowing visual reference.
The HP-535's luxurious satin mahogany wood finish completes the package. Offering
players a music workstation designed to fit in with any home's decor, the HP-555G
is the flagship of the HP line. The HP-555G features stereo sampled piano sounds
and more than 350 built-in GS instrument sounds, ranging from violin to trumpet
and amazing sound effects, including applause and rainfall. In addition to
being an outstanding performance instrument, the HP-555G also offers a range of
functions that make it an exceptional instrument for learning. With its built-in
3.5-inch disk drive, the HP-555G is ready to use with a wide variety of music
file formats. Players can even create their own files using the 16-track sequencer
and its built-in rhythm library. Convenient and powerful editing functions
let players edit the notes and music files. When using SMFs with lyrics, the HP-555G
will display the words on the built-in LCD, or on an external monitor or television
with an optional LVC-1. A computer interface provides a single-cable connection
to a personal computer and large libraries of music software. The HP-555G's
warm satin mahogany wood finish cabinet makes it the perfect addition to any decor,
