Pearl OptiMount Suspension Mounting System
January 28, 1999Pearl proudly introduces the best sounding and most stable suspension mounting
system available, the new OptiMount Suspension System.
The OptiMount Suspension System attaches to the drum between the hoops and
lugs at four locations for exceptional stability regardless of tilt or weight
of the drum. Each OptiMount consists of a top bracket, a pair of spanners, and
a bottom bracket. Universal slots in the brackets allow the OptiMount to for
fit virtually all toms from 8" to 16" in diameter. Soft rubber cushions
at the attachment points provide isolation for outstanding sustain and resonance.
The upper bracket is fitted with a BT-3 bracket for use with 7/8" tom arms.
The OptiMount Suspension System is available in five models-each with different
length spanners--to accommodate toms of varying depths.
- OPT-0708 for 7" to 8" deep toms
- OPT-0910 for 9" to 10" deep toms
- OPT-1112 for 11 " to 12" deep toms
- OPT-1314 for 13" to 14" deep toms
- OPT-1516 for 15" to 16" deep toms
The spanners are telescopic and can be "fine tuned" for optimum length
for individual toms.
With only five models necessary to accommodate virtually all sizes and makes
of toms, the OptiMount is the only suspension systems that dealers need to carry.
The OptiMount Suspension System will be standard on 1999 Masterworks and Masters
