Tascam Ships IF-TAD Digital Format Converter January 28, 1999 TASCAM is featuring the IF-TADthe first
affordable digital converter on the market that can translate data from
the DTRS to the ADAT format and backwardsat the NAMM Convention, held
from January 28 to 31 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Booth W1015.

link between these two digital format worlds, allowing a DTRS based-studio
to use ADAT sessions brought in by a client or to generate DTRS tapes
of ADAT sessions to interface with major music studios, for example.
The IF-TAD features TASCAMs exclusive TDIF technology, signal indicating
LED for TDIF activity, ADAT optical I/O, signal indicating LED for ADAT
